PROJECT YODA

A personal project that led to a cooperation with Nick Maley who was part of the team making the original Yoda back in the 70’s. I made him a fund raising film to resurrect the puppet from it’s grave.
Even though he’s alien, it was still difficult to get a good likeness, as the different versions show.

PROJECT NOGARD

Nick also wanted to dust off an old creature model he made for The Empire Strikes Back that never made it into the movie, partly because of an unprepared presentation for George Lucas.
I used photos from his old model and sculpted him in 3d and now he sits in the logotype for their foundation.
